DELIVERY & SHIPPING

This service covers delivery to your door. Our Basic service will suit you if: 

• You are home most of the time and do not mind that you will not be provided with a delivery window. 
• You are comfortable with the rug being delivered to the front door of your house or apartment block. Note that as our rugs can be quite heavy and bulky, they cannot be carried upstairs or through other difficult property access. 
• You are able to assist the delivery driver. 
• Your rug is under 50kgs.

This service covers delivery to your room of choice. Our Standard service will suit you if: 

• You live in a metro area in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane (within 50km from the CBD). 
• You would like to choose a delivery date and receive a 3-4 hour delivery window. 
• You would like the rug delivered into a room of your choice.

This service covers delivery and placement in your room of choice. Our Premium service will suit you if: 

• You live in a metro area in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane (within 50km from the CBD). 
• You would like to choose a delivery date and receive a 3-4 hour delivery window. 
• You would like the rug delivered and installed into a room of your choice, with the maximum weight of furniture in the room no more than 100kg. 
• You would like the delivery driver to remove all packaging.

International markets supported from Australia include, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and the Middle East. 

Shipping costs for international deliveries will be quoted at checkout before payment. All prices listed online for international shipping are Delivered at Place (DAP – Incoterms 2020) and exclude local taxes and duties. Customers are responsible for paying any taxes and duties that may be incurred upon receipt.  

International orders online are limited to up to 3m in width. To purchase a larger width rug, please contact the team who can support you with a delivery quote and processing your order, please email shop@armadillo-co.com.  

If the country you would like to ship to is not listed on our website at checkout, please email shop@armadillo-co.com. 

Rug underlays purchased without a rug will incur a $55.00 shipping fee per underlay. Where possible, we recommend ordering your underlay at the same time you purchase your rug to avoid this additional shipping charge.

Underlay only orders will only be dispatched using our Basic service.

Your order will generally be dispatched from our warehouse within 48 hours (business days only) after your purchase. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an automatic email from the courier with the tracking details so you can follow the status of your delivery. 

Custom orders will be dispatched within 48 hours of receipt of final payment. A balance invoice will be sent to you once your Custom order has arrived at our warehouse.  

After dispatch, the shipping time to most Australian capital cities are usually within 5-10 business days, and up to 15 business days for international deliveries. International delivery windows can incur delays at Customs where duties and taxes payment may be required. Customers are responsible for paying any taxes and duties that may be incurred upon receipt.  

Delayed dispatch can be requested when ordering online. Complimentary storage is offered for up to 3 months from the order date. Storage greater than 3 months will incur an additional charge of $20 per item, per week. Storage fees incurred will be charged directly, via a payment link. 

All dates quoted for delivery are estimated delivery dates only and may be subject to change. Unfortunately, we can accept no liability for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) if delivery takes place at any time other than the estimated date for delivery. Please note that the courier will only deliver during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm). 

All items will be shipped via a courier service of Armadillo's choosing and will need to be signed for. Delivery is deemed to be effective when the delivery company receives a signed receipt or delivery docket confirming that the goods were received. Sometimes your delivery will be split by the courier company into partial deliveries of larger and smaller items. Please check the number of pieces on the total delivery to make sure none are missed. If the packaging is damaged, please do not sign the delivery docket and contact our Customer Care team immediately. 

If the delivery is attempted to your address and no one is able to sign for it, then the delivery company will transfer it to a nearby depot and leave a card with a number for you to call to arrange a re-delivery. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that the person making the delivery will specifically follow the location instructions. Re-deliveries may incur an additional delivery charge which you may be invoiced for.
